Ahlan Wa Sahlan Ya Ramadhan...

This month, August goes together with Ramadhan or the fasting month for Moslems. It was the umpteenth time that I fasted far far away from My lovely hometown… yeah.. still I miss My family a lot and also the Ramadhan atmosphere in My lovely hometown – Buton Island -  like it used to be…
However, i have been through Ramadhan here quite well so far. Ramadan this time is a little different from the previous year.. This is my very first time having my Ramadhan with my hubby in our lovely home in Bogor. Thankfully God… it used to be just with friends usually, but now I can go through it with my lovely husband. He's very kind and understanding , always trying to make me feel Ok. Syukur Alhamdulillah ya Allah, I couldn't ask for more…. J.
The first sahoor, He was so worried that I would be sick due to my activity so we didn't prepare to cook, beside My Hubby wouldn’t let me in the kitchen much.... (Huraaayy.... ^_^) . So we decide to take catering during Ramadhan moreover almost impossible to cook after a long day at work. But insyaAllah, I will always try to prepare the iftar to break the fast…
Hmmm.. talking ‘bout iftar, I have another great experience to prepare it. I even surprised that i made my own Es agar-agar rumput laut” and the delicious “blackforest” for the very first time in my life mmm…yummy..… I’m so excited…Thanks to my sister Rina for helping me to make it happened… J
Every year in Ramadhan, I always miss the situation when everybody is heading to the mosque at night for Taraweeh prayer  and the gatherings for breaking  the fast together with family. Hence, I always try to leave my office as soon as possible and driving very fast to reach home (but still careful on the road of course… J) so that I can prepare iftar for My lovely Hubby at home is definitely one thing that I am waiting for ^_^, but sometimes I reach home already Maghrib azan so I just have my iftar in my car eating “arem-arem and lumpia” with my friends….  :)
In the evening… actually My hubby prefers staying for Iftar at home and go only for taraweeh at Masjid with me. So…When I’m getting home late, I do prepare to go to Masjid immediately coz my hubby was already waiting to go there together…

Alhamdulillah our Masjid is very near from my home,  only need a few steps to get there… In our Masjid, the prayer is turned out : Sholat Isya - ceramah - Sholat Taraweeh - Sholat Witir. The Imam… mashaAllah  is  wonderful, even some times reading very long verses that made my leg wobble every second that passed by.. ^_^ and gave out a huge yawn when the Imam kept reading seems like he was not going to stop hihihi…… But I really enjoy it , Al hamdulilah…  had a good taraweeh as I do everyday….
After Fajr prayer,  I always try to made a time to read Al-Qur’an. Honestly, I  prefer to read it near Rina because She will actually correct me and grumpy  if I made a mistake in reading the Quran ^_^….Subhanallah…  Luv u sistaa…. J.
Hmmm...by the way....near at iftar time,  sometimes I’m going to hang out with my hubby for looking around lots of people hunting ta’jil before breaking their fast. We’ll see Young and old people, moslem and even non-moslem also went along with hunting ta'jil and “ngabuburit” for various cakes and cold drinks. Wuiih….Ta’jil has become highest point of the day during Ramadan! ^_^…
it has become traditional for Muslims to spend their time looking for ta'jil, sugary snacks and drinks consumed to break the fast while waiting for the mosque drums… There’s many choices of meals to break the fast with cheap prices… “Kolak pisang…”, “candil”,”Es blewah”… hmm… Everybody enjoying the evening moment with delicious meals… very fascinating…. Yeaaiy… It's always great seeing the moment that you don't usually see if not Ramadhan time…. J
Hhhh…Alhamdulillah…. I thank to Allah for giving me a feeling of happiness to celebrate this month of “barokah” although It so far away from my family in Buton Island... I wish… will always enjoyed Ramadan with have prayed long nights, recited much of the Qur’an, give as much sadaqah or charity as much as I could and done similar deeds that would earn great reward ‘till ‘Ied Day coming….
Happy Ramadhan guys !!….. Hopefully there’s always going to be a cheerful doing fasting and… May Allah give us more chance for more good deeds and gather us in the jannah al firdaus… Ammmiiinn…. J
